Narcissus in Acrylic #2

Posted by | April 6, 2012 | 0 Comments

After a few weeks painting, I notice that I’ve improved. Today I made a few changes to the narcissus flower painted two weeks ago. I mainly added some highlights on the leaves and corrected the shapes of petals. Compared to the first version, it looks much realistic. I am very happy with the result. I am more comfortable making changes now. That’s beauty of acrylic painting – you can make changes anytime you want. 🙂

Narcissus, one type of white daffodils, is very popular flower during Chinese New Year.  Narcissus represents innocent and self-esteem.

Spring is coming … daffodils leaves are turning green and buds are growing. Here comes white daffodils, one of my favorite flowers.
